Water coming up through cracks in the floor can sometimes be abated
using high pressure injection of cracks in the floor using urethane
grout. Holes are drilled in the floor through the cracks at a diagonal. A
fitting or injection packer is inserted into the drill hole. Then, using the
Everseal 6000, the urethane grout is injected into the crack sealing it
against additional water penetration. This process can also be used to
seal where the floor meets the wall in poured wall situation. The repair
will not work where hydrostatic pressure is severe as the floor will just
recrack. Also, it will not work where a block wall meets a concrete floor.
In those cases interior draintile is recommended.
